Refund & Return Policy
General Policy
RN Group voluntarily offers a limited return and exchange policy under the conditions described below.
All returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to inspection and final approval by the shop management.
Product Categories Covered by This Policy
This policy applies to the following product categories sold by RN Group:
- Indian traditional wear
- Sri Lankan traditional wear
- Textiles and fashion garments
- Clothing for men, women, and children
- Family sets and coordinated outfits
- Fancy jewellery
- Gold-plated jewellery (not solid gold)
Each category may have specific conditions described below.
Colour Variations in Product Photos
We make every effort to display product colours as accurately as possible. However:
Due to
- photography lighting
- screen settings
- editing adjustments
- fabric reflection
The actual colour of the product may slightly differ from the images shown on the website.
A colour difference of approximately 10–20% is considered normal and acceptable.
For this reason, returns or refunds cannot be requested solely because of minor colour variations between the product and the website images.
However, if a customer clearly receives a completely different colour than ordered (for example ordering orange and receiving green), the item may qualify for:
- return
- exchange
- refund ,after verification.
Return Conditions for Textiles and Clothing
Customers may request a return within 14 days after receiving the order, provided that:
- the product is unused
- the product is unworn
- the product is undamaged
- the product is returned in original condition
- the invoice or proof of purchase is provided
If a customer simply decides that they do not like the product, the item may still be returned only if it meets all the above conditions.
If approved, the customer may choose:
- exchange for another textile product
- store credit
- refund
Worn or Damaged Clothing
Clothing that shows signs of:
- wearing
- washing
- perfume or deodorant marks
- makeup stains
- stretching or tearing
- alteration
cannot be returned or refunded.
If a textile product becomes damaged during the first wearing, it is considered the responsibility and risk of the customer, unless a clear manufacturing defect can be proven.
Jewellery Policy
RN Group sells:
- fancy jewellery
- gold-plated jewellery
Our jewellery is not solid gold.
Over time, gold-plated jewellery may naturally experience:
- colour fading
- wear due to skin contact
- chemical reactions with perfume, water, sweat, or cosmetics
Such changes are normal characteristics of gold-plated jewellery and do not qualify for returns or refunds.Jewellery may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase only if:
- the item is unused
- the item is undamaged
- the item is returned in original packaging
- a valid invoice is provided
Shipping and Transport Damage
Customers must inspect their order immediately upon receiving it.
If a product is damaged during transportation, the customer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photo evidence.
If the damage occurred after the package was delivered or due to handling by the customer, RN Group cannot provide refunds or replacements.
Refund Process
If a return is approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Refunds will be transferred to the customer’s bank account or payment method within 15–20 business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Shipping costs are generally non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our side.
Exchange Option
Instead of a refund, customers may also choose to exchange the product for another item available in our collection.
Any price difference must be paid or refunded accordingly.
Final Decision
All returns and refunds are subject to inspection and approval by RN Group management.
The final decision regarding acceptance of returns, exchanges, or refunds lies with the store owner and management team.
